I refused to drive an un-safe tractor-trailer for Minas Enterprise Inc. I was in Fort Pierce Florida. They fired me 928 miles from my house and had the Fort Pierce Police; remove myself and some of my belongings from their truck. I requested that the Police call the Florida State Police to do an inspection and they did. The Florida State Police inspected the truck and placed it OUT OF SERVICE! This was on February 6th, 2013, around 10:30 pm.
On February 7th, 2013 Minas Enterprise Inc., placed several negative, vicious, libel, bold face lies on my DAC Report, through HireRight®.
I filed a law suite against Minas Enterprise Inc to recoup my Greyhound Bus Fare, Wages as well as Monies I spent to repair their equipment, authorized by them, to do so. They in turn filed a Counter Claim against me for the sum of $25,000.00. Counsel represented Minas Enterprise Inc and I represented myself. I was awarded Judgment and they lost their Counter Claim.
It was only after Jr Bent contacted me to inform me that Minas Enterprise Inc had trashed his DAC Report through HireRight®. He also sued Minas Enterprise Inc for his wages and also won his Judgment and again, Minas Enterprise Inc lost their Law Suite against him.
I did in fact request a copy of my DAC Report through HireRight® and it was in fact filled with lies about my service as a Driver, while employed with Minas Enterprise Inc, that they themselves had submitted to HireRight®.
So once I requested this report from HireRight® and read it for myself, I was LIVID! I went straight to the HireRight® website and filed a grievance with them concerning what they had placed on my DAC Report. I did this in writing so I would have a copy. I told them about the law suite I had won and all the information I could send them, I did.
So now HireRight® starts their investigation. AT NO TIME DID ANY ONE FROM HireRight® CONTACT ME AND REQUEST ANY DOCUMENTATION OR FURTHER INFORMATION CONCERNING THIS ISSUE.
After the 30 days were up, I received a letter from HireRight® stating that they removed the negative complaints from my DAC Report, ONLY BECAUSE MINAS ENTERPRISE INC DID NOT RESPOND BACK TO THEM! They still allowed Minas Enterprise Inc to be attached to my DAC Report!
Minas Enterprise Inc was An Illegal Company Operating In The Commonwealth Of Virginia When They Were Allowed To Trash My DAC Report Through HireRight®!!! They had no business license.
Why would HireRight® allow this to happen? Greed maybe? Another Client added to their list maybe? HireRight® boast that they are the company to go with because they do such a great job investigating backgrounds. No one in their company thought to make it a policy, to make sure a company had a business license before they would be allowed to hurt or even end a Drivers Career? Who knows?
Now comes a fact. If you do not need a Business License to do business with HireRight®, as in my case, who's next? Can a jilted ex now trash their significant others, simply by paying HireRight® their fees?
DRIVER CHECK YOUR DAC REPORT! HIRERIGHT® CUSTOMER, DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ!!!!
